According to Super Lawyers®, “Each candidate is evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement. Selections are made on an annual, state-by-state basis. The objective is to create a credible, comprehensive and diverse listing of outstanding attorneys that can be used as a resource for attorneys and consumers searching for legal counsel.” Candidates are eligible for Rising Stars if they under the age of 40 and have been practicing for less than 10 years.
PROVEN TRIAL LAWYERS
Selection to the Super Lawyers® or Rising Stars list is quite rigorous so if you find an accredited Uber or Lyft attorney, you know you are in good hands. In determining who you should represent you in an accident in an Uber or Lyft, you should seek a lawyer that has been qualified as a proven trial lawyer. Super Lawyers® is likely the number one lawyer association, and therefore should be given significant deference in finding the right lawyer for you.
Following their very rigorous selection process based heavily on peer review, attorneys who make the final cut are named to either:
- The Super Lawyers list, which recognizes no more than 5% of all practicing attorneys in each state or major metro area.
- The Super Lawyers list of Rising Stars, which is only reserved for top young lawyers and recognizes just 2.5% of all practicing attorneys in each state.
